  1. Remove the tailgate and  rear bumper from truck. (Remove hitch if application applies)
  2. There are two plastic corners on the lower bed side panels.  These must be removed to install the fiberglass end caps.  (Fig 1)
  3. Prior to installing the roll pan, a spare tire relocater is required to retain access to  the crank tube.  Spare tire relocater is sold seperatly. Part# 122150
  4. The roll pan will hit the lower L & R bed sides.  You will need to trim them away with a die grinder (fig 2). Caution: Do not trim too much, roll pan mounts in that area.  See figure 4. Install the SIR MICHAEL’S steel roll pan into place.  Mark the holes across the top of the roll pan and on both sides, remove the roll pan and drill the holes using the self tapping screws. (Fig 3 & 4)  Then re-install and screw the roll pan into place, to assure good fit. Now take the two fiberglass end caps and test fit them (fig. 5)  From the back side of the bed panel, using the bolts & washers provided, finger tighten the end caps in place.  Once the roll pan has been test fitted, remove for painting prep.
  5. Body filler is used to fill the seams around the license plate and at the end of the roll pan . For good paint adhesion, sand down the roll pan completely before applying any primer or paint.
  6. Apply some seam sealer to the backside of the roll pan where the roll pan is welded. This will help keep moisture out.
  7. After roll pan has been color matched, Install the license plate lite using the two #8 screws( Do Not Over-Tighten Screws). Snap in the plastic nuts into the square holes in the license plate box. Install your license plate with the two phillips head screws provided.
  8. To wire up the license plate lite, connect one wire to the parking lite wire from the taillites and the other wire must be grounded to the frame.
  9. Spare tire and hitch are now accessed behide a cut out in the license plate box of the roll pan
