NSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BOLT-ON STEEL ROLL PAN 88-98 CHEVY/GM FLEETSIDE TRUCK PART# 2476101,2476102 ACCESSORIES SOLD SEPARTELY: FLIP-DOWN LICENSE PLATE ASSEMBLY PART # 300001 SPARE TIRE RELOCATOR PART # 2476122(&Mac189; TON) & 24762122 (æ TON) TAILGATE HANDLE RELOCATOR PART #2476118 For best results, please read all instructions thoroughly prior to attempting installation of your SIR MICHAEL'S weld-on steel roll pan. SIR MICHAEL'S recommends the use of approved hand, eye and ear safety equipment while performing this installation. If you have any questions concerning the installation of your SIR MICHAEL'S steel roll pan, please contact our customer service department at (714) 379-6800, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST). NOTE: Any part that is modified and/or painted are non returnable. Remove the tailgate and/or rear bumper from truck. To avoid damaging the paint on the truck during test fitting, apply masking tape between the bedsides and the SIR MICHAEL'S bolt-on steel roll pan. The roll pan mounts directly to the back of the bed below the tailgate using supplied #8 self-tapping screws. NOTE: It is recommended to pre-drill all mounting holes using 1/8" drill bit once test fitting is complete. NOTE: Roll pans with taillights may require trimming of the bed floor lip. Be sure to test fit with light boxes installed in roll pan. Next, install the SIR MICHAELíS supplied lower mounting brackets by first loosely screwing one end of the bracket to the lower inside lip of the roll pan utitlizing the provided #8 self-tapping screws. Then, secure the other side of the brackets to the frame using supplied 5/16" bolts and washers. Finally, adjust pan to match body lines and tighten all hardware. Once the SIR MICHAEL'S bolt-on steel roll pan is properly fitted remove from truck for finish body work and paint. Properly painted, now you are ready to re-install you SIR MICHAEL'S bolt-on steel roll pan back onto the truck. After roll pan has been color matched, reinstall on to vehicle. Install the license plate light using the two #8 screws provided. ( DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN SCREWS ) Snap in the plastic nuts into the square holes in the license plate box. Install your license plate with the two phillips head screws provided. To wire up the license plate light, connect one wire to the parking light wire from the taillights and the other black wire must be grounded to the frame.
