For best results, please read all instructions thoroughly prior to attempting installation of your SIR MICHAEL'S spare tire relocater. SIR MICHAEL'S recommends the use of approved hand, eye and ear safety equipment while performing this installation. If you have any questions concerning the installation of your SIR MICHAEL'S spare tire relocater please contact our customer service department at (714) 379-6800, Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST).
NOTE: Any part that is modified and/or painted are non returnable.
Remove the spare tire from the truck.
Unbolt the factory spare tire crank mechansim from the frame.
Bolt the SIR MICHAEL'S spare tire relocater to the existing holes that were used for the stock crank mechanism.
Bolt the factory crank mechansim to the SIR MICHAEL'S spare tire relocater.
Re-install spare tire. NOTE: The SIR MICHAEL'S spare tire relocater will only move spare tire forward to allow clearance for our SIR MICHAEL'S steel roll pan, it will not raise the spare tire up any higher than the factory location. |
